Leather is a natural material and will vary from hide to hide. This adds to the unique nature of every piece we craft. To minimize waste, we try to use every piece of every hide, but sometimes that means including range marks, bug bites, scars, and even full brands in the case of larger pieces.

We believe these marks add to the character of the piece and pay homage to the life that was lived to create the material we use, and we've cultivated a rustic aesthetic in our work that fits this belief.
